Here is one of our American Classic Roofing Crews at work! In this picture, they are laying underlayment, which goes between the wood on the roof, and the shingles! The purpose of laying underlayment is to create a waterproof barrier between the home and rain, snow, etc!
They are harnessed for safety and getting the job done!
A couple of American Classic crews shingled and installed metal roofs on this house in Baldwin, MI.
The shingles are CertainTeed Landmark, in the color Driftwood.

Building a house and not quite sure as to how this goes? Let us show you!
Crews show up to a house that is bare. Shingles and underlayment get delivered to the top of the roof, so they’re ready for the crew to get to work.
They must cover the entire roof with the underlayment, since this is the material that adds the extra barrier between your ceiling and roof, to protect against water penetration.
Once the entire roof is covered in the underlayment, the crews can start shingling!
